Security Guard Commercial Screening

As a Security Guard Commercial Screening in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related screening activities, monitor access points, and assist with identifying concerns before they escalate. This role offers the chance to stay engaged, interact professionally with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, team-oriented environment where Allied Universal values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Screen people, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and screening protocols.
- Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document screening results, visitor activity, and/or unusual events in required logs and reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and support security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A Guard Card or license is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
