What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of visitors, employees, and contractors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of security-related protocols.
• Provide customer service by answering questions, giving directions, and assisting individuals as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to established procedures.
• Follow emergency response procedures as required, including assisting with evacuations or lockdowns when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license as required.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
