As a Security Officer Armed College Campus in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at an education location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. In this armed post, you will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at an educational location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, while documenting security-related concerns and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verify authorized access when required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations.
- Maintain readiness for an armed post by following post orders, handling assigned equipment in accordance with policy, and supporting security-related response activities as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of years of corrections, law enforcement and military background.
- Possess a college degree in criminal justice.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
