Security Officer Armed Driver Entry Operations Job in West Palm Beach, Florida

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Entry Operations in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Access Control Officer supporting a government location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide professional service and communication while helping to deter incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to represent our agile, reliable, and innovative team, working with integrity and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points at a government location; verify identification, credentials, and authorization before permitting access in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate access-related records, visitor logs, and incident documentation; communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate site personnel and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify conditions requiring attention.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
