Security Officer Hospital Foot Patrol Job in West Palm Beach, Florida

As a Security Officer Hospital Foot Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and compliance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, healthcare location policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency and/or medical response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations.
- Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations, and promptly report security-related incidents according to established procedures.
- Assist patients, visitors, and staff with directions and location information while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
Minimum Requirements:
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be willing to work in a hospital morgue.
- Possess proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
