As a Security Officer - Logistics Screener - Weekdays in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergencies as needed.
• Perform screening duties for individuals, vehicles, and/or packages entering or exiting the logistics and distribution location to help to deter unauthorized access and prohibited items.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual or suspicious activity.
• Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and screening results according to company and client requirements.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and delivery personnel to provide guidance and enforce site rules.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site management to support security-related operations and maintain a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
