You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations requiring assistance, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and escorts as assigned, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and actions taken, and maintain professional communication with healthcare staff and emergency responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Vaccinations are required for hospital assignments.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals as required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
