Security Officer Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol in Westlake Village, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, community policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or resident concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to supervisors and/or local contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe community activity to help to deter trespassing, parking issues, and/or policy violations while maintaining a professional presence.
- Document daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities in required reports and communicate security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
