Security Guard Full-Time Medical Support Job in Wexford, Pennsylvania

As a Security Guard Full Time Medical Screening Support in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support security-related needs in sensitive areas while communicating clearly and responding with care and integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and wayfinding, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
