As a Security Officer – Hospital Morgue Patrol in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents, and you will provide exceptional customer service while assisting with various healthcare-related situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while following established protocols for healthcare facilities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Assist with access control and visitor management in accordance with healthcare site requirements.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities as required by Allied Universal and the healthcare location.
• Support emergency response activities and assist healthcare staff, patients, and visitors as needed during emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccinations are required for work in hospital environments.
• Work may involve duties in a hospital morgue.
• Ability to restrain individuals as required in a hospital environment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
