Security Officer Wexford Hospital Interior Patrol Job in Wexford, Pennsylvania

As a Security Officer Full Time Hospital in Wexford, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor directions, access control procedures, and reporting suspicious activity or policy violations.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, communicating relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- Be able to restrain individuals.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
