Security Officer Front Desk

As a Security Officer Front Desk in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional financial institution location where you will serve as the welcoming front desk presence, monitor access activity, assist visitors and staff, and support security-related protocols through strong communication and customer service. - Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, managing visitor access, and supporting security-related protocols for a financial services location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access in a calm and professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with good judgment, documenting events and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
- Answer questions, direct guests and employees, manage incoming calls and/or deliveries, and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to post orders.
- Maintain a visible presence at the front desk while completing required logs, access records, and other security-related administrative tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
