What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a welcoming environment.
• Monitor for security-related concerns such as unauthorized access, suspicious behavior, or disturbances, and report findings to management and/or law enforcement as necessary.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and client requirements.
• Assist in site access control by observing entrances and exits and supporting visitor and/or vendor management processes.
• Support loss prevention efforts by being visible throughout the location and helping to deter theft and other unwanted behaviors.
• Support emergency preparedness and response procedures as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
