Security Officer Access Control Representative

As a Security Officer Access Control Representative in Wilmer, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control operations while remaining visible throughout assigned areas. This role offers the chance to provide outstanding customer service and communication, help to deter security-related incidents, and work with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, caring, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted manufacturing and industrial areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and access points, with attention to security-related concerns that may arise in the working environment.
- Support vehicle and delivery access procedures by confirming approvals, observing incoming and outgoing traffic, and reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
