Security Officer - Automobile Storage Facility

As a Security Officer in Wilmer, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication and customer-focused support. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license and meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Bring an agile, reliable, innovative mindset and lead with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, visitors and/or vendors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured doors and/or policy violations that may help to deter incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control concerns and/or disruptive behavior, and notify management and/or emergency services as directed.
• Monitor access points and key areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor management and delivery coordination in a tech and telecom location.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, incidents and/or observations, and communicate relevant updates to client representatives and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
