What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, vendors, and site personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at the location.
- Monitor and control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, credentials, deliveries, and/or visitor records in line with site access protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Support screening and documentation processes for incoming and outgoing traffic, including maintaining accurate logs of visitors, vehicles, trailers, and/or shipments as required by site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, access points, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have access control or badge experience preferred.
- Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
