As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Technology in WILMINGTON , DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a healthcare and pharmaceutical research location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with established entry procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handover communications for Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
