Security Officer Reception Specialist

As a Security Officer Reception Specialist in Wilmington, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Professional at a residential location, where you will welcome residents and guests, monitor access, and help support a secure and welcoming environment. In this stationary role, you will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and attentive presence while handling security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor the front desk area and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying visitors, reviewing credentials, and documenting arrivals and departures according to property guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Answer phones, provide directions and general assistance, and support a professional lobby presence within a residential location.
- Complete required logs, reports, and other assigned documentation related to security-related activities, visitor management, and shift events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
