Security Officer Armed Patrol Courier

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Courier in Wilson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine driving patrols, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, assigned work areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site protocols.
- Support cash handling and other high-value operational areas through visible presence, routine inspections, and timely reporting of incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or operational disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
