As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Full-Time in Winnemucca, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your primary responsibilities will include patrolling assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This unarmed position is primarily focused on patrol duties and will require you to drive as part of your daily routine. You will also have the opportunity to interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication to address any concerns. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unauthorized persons on site, according to Allied Universal procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while maintaining a visible presence.
• Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site protocols.
• Support the enforcement of site policies and procedures to help to deter violations and maintain order.
• Work closely with site management and Allied Universal supervisors to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements; driving experience is preferred for primarily driving posts.
• A Guard Card or equivalent license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
