Security Officer - Industrial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, support a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity, facility issues, and potential security-related risks.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted or controlled areas within the location.
- Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by observing workplace conditions, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following Allied Universal post orders and incident reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
