Security Officer Front Desk and Driver Job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina

As a Security Officer Front Desk Driver in Winston Salem, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related systems, respond to alarms, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to represent Allied Universal with professionalism, helping to deter incidents while supporting a caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide a professional front desk presence and customer service for visitors, employees, and contractors at a financial institution location.
- Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, following site-specific entry procedures, and directing guests to the appropriate areas.
- Maintain visitor logs, issue temporary access credentials as authorized, and communicate arrivals or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Support a welcoming, professional environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
