Security Officer - Access Control Financial Institution

As a Security Officer - Access Control Financial Institution in Winter Garden, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a welcoming presence. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access control points, and interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service. Your role supports a secure environment by remaining visible and approachable, utilizing technology such as computers or tablets. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the premises, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries related to access procedures and site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document and report all access incidents, observations, and security-related events as required by site procedures.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address access control concerns and support a secure environment for employees and visitors.
• Remain alert and attentive while monitoring entry points, surveillance systems, and other security-related equipment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• State, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
