Security Officer Full Time Access Management Job in Winter Garden, Florida

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Management in Winter Garden, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting a financial institution, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service to employees and visitors. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a professional environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Monitor and control access to the financial institution location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorization, and access permissions in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor, employee, contractor, and delivery records, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, access-control alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, access points, and the perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
