As a Security Officer Dispatch in Woodland Hills, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor radio, phone, alarm, and camera activity; receive calls for service; document details; and dispatch personnel to incidents, maintenance issues, and other priority situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Coordinate communication between on-site personnel, property management, emergency responders, and/or vendors, helping to support timely awareness of incidents, access concerns, and unusual activity.
- Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, and daily activity records, helping to support follow-up, trend tracking, and communication across shifts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as needed, while monitoring working environments and conditions that may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
