As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Vehicle Patrol in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout retail and mall locations. Your presence on-site and commitment to customer service will contribute to a secure environment for customers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following company and site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
• Monitor for suspicious activity or potential hazards and report findings according to established procedures.
• Work closely with retail staff and management to address security-related concerns within the location.
• Document all incidents and observations clearly and accurately in daily activity reports.
• Assist with crowd management and access control as needed during peak hours or special events at the retail location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

• This is primarily a driving post; previous driving experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
