Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Facility Patrol Driver in Yuma, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support a welcoming atmosphere through exceptional customer service and communication, and respond promptly to any security-related concerns. This is a driving position, so you will need a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at food and beverage production or distribution locations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support site operations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support compliance with company policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities clearly and thoroughly in daily reports and logs as required by Allied Universal and site management.
• Communicate with site personnel and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters or issues identified during patrols.
• Support site-specific protocols related to food and beverage operations, including adherence to hygiene and contamination prevention measures as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
