Security Officer - Full Time

As a Security Officer Full Time Screening in Zionsville, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, screen people and/or packages, and support security-related operations through a visible, professional presence. This role offers the chance to deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, care, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and team members by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and established security-related procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, screening areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access.
- Document daily activities, screening results, and/or incident information accurately, and communicate observations related to policy violations or operational concerns.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be 21+ years of age.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
