As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol in Abilene, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Level III Armed Certification in Texas. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or potential theft concerns, and report findings according to site protocols.
• Support opening and closing procedures, access control activities, and high-visibility presence throughout the location while maintaining professionalism and attention to security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess one or more of the following;
  • Minimum of three (3) years of military, law enforcement, or corrections officer experience
  • Minimum of five (5) years of employment in an armed security role
  • Current employment with Allied Universal with a minimum of four (5) years armed experience
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
