As a Security Officer Driver for Patrol in Albertville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, verify credentials and shipment-related information as directed, and report suspicious or policy-related issues to site leadership.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, completing required reports, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or access control issues that could affect the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
