As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Albertville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post instructions, and/or responding to routine questions and concerns at the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter access points, while observing and reporting suspicious activity and/or security-related concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors, helping to support site access procedures and documenting relevant information as required.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or policy-related observations, and communicate notable conditions to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
