As an Armed Security Officer Patrol Response in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post orders.
- Support emergency situations by assisting with evacuations, restricted access, incident scene control, and/or other assigned duties consistent with site protocols and armed post responsibilities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
