Hotel Security Patrol Officer

As a Hotel Security Patrol Officer in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents, and support store teams with strong customer service. You will conduct routine rounds, observe activity, respond to concerns, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the sales floor, exterior entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, loitering, and/or policy violations, and respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Control access to non-public areas such as stockrooms and delivery areas, and assist with vendor and delivery check-in in accordance with site guidelines.
• Document incidents, observations, and completed patrols in written reports, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and location management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
