Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Presence Job in Allen, Texas

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Field Presence in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and team members. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activity using computer or tablet tools. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, stock and receiving locations, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the business perimeter.
- Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, policy violations, and potential loss-prevention issues, helping to deter unauthorized activity through a visible presence.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
