Security Officer Patrol Job in Allen, Texas

As a Security Officer Patrol in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to shoppers and staff. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, parking locations, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for security-related incidents, patrols, and observations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
