Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Anadarko, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls with calm professionalism. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license, along with an armed guard card or license. You will document activity, communicate clearly with site contacts, and support a caring, agile, reliable team that leads with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Carry and operate assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, post orders, and applicable laws and/or regulations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarms, access control issues, suspicious activity, and requests for assistance.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter fencing, and utility infrastructure to help to deter unauthorized access and/or tampering.
• Complete required reports and logs, document patrol observations and incident details, and communicate status updates to site contacts and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card and/or license is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
