As an armed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that may help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to situations with calm communication, document key activity, and support staff and visitors with customer-focused service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, donors, and visitors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and exterior perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.
• Monitor entrances, donor processing areas, and restricted spaces, checking identification and/or authorization as required and documenting security-related activity per post orders.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and/or disruptive behavior in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and local public responders as needed.
• Complete detailed written reports and activity logs, preserve the scene for investigation when required, and communicate status updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or the location point of contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Concealed Carry Weapons Permit.
• Hold an Act 235 Qualification in Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
