As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail and entertainment location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to customer needs with clear communication and a service-first approach. You will support site protocols, document observations, and collaborate with teammates to deliver reliable coverage with integrity, backed by Allied Universal’s agile, innovative, people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following Allied Universal post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and entertainment location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when required and assisting with scene control until help arrives.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and high-traffic areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and report policy violations or hazards to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and visitor interactions, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and/or client representatives per site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
