Security Officer Patrol Guard Part Time

Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, communication, and teamwork while bringing integrity, reliability, and a people-first approach to every shift.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities throughout the location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity and report concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit activity at gates, docks, and/or access points, verify authorized access when required, and document deliveries, pickups, and visitor activity according to site procedures.
- Support emergency response activities, assist with traffic and/or pedestrian flow during busy operational periods, and complete required reports on incidents, patrols, and daily activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
