Security Officer Patrol Navigator

As a Security Officer Patrol Navigator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and teamwork, while reflecting our agile, reliable, innovative culture and acting with integrity every day.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to property management and/or emergency contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout lobbies, corridors, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and common areas while following post orders and documenting daily activities, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns.
- Support property operations by assisting with after-hours access, alarm-related responses, and tenant or visitor inquiries in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
