As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Driver in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and support staff and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including receiving reports, gathering basic facts, and escalating to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and building perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access control points and visitor management processes, including checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, and coordinating with site contacts for approvals and/or escorts.
• Complete timely security-related reports and shift logs, communicate significant events during shift turnover, and support technology-focused locations by observing alarms, cameras, and other monitoring systems as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1+ years of security experience is required.
• 21+ years of age is required.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Comfortable using computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
