Security Officer - Front Desk

As a Security Officer - Front Desk in Benson, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a busy manufacturing and industrial location, you will welcome employees and visitors, manage access control and badge issuance, monitor entry activity, and handle phone and desk communications. You will use a computer and/or tablet to document security-related events, support the site team, and help maintain smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Staff the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identity and authorization, managing sign-in and sign-out, and issuing temporary access credentials per site requirements.
• Monitor access points, cameras, and/or alarm systems from the reception area, report irregular activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Complete security-related logs and reports, document incidents and service requests, and communicate pertinent information during shift change.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Customer Service Experience - preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet - preferred.
• Lift More Than 20 lbs - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
