As an Armed Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry points at a premier private club location, verify credentials, monitor activity, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to members, guests, staff, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and document arrivals, departures, and/or deliveries in accordance with location procedures.
- Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Support daily operations by reporting maintenance concerns, policy violations, and other security-related observations through written reports and/or verbal communication.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card and unarmed guard card.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
