Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Tech Industry

As a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol Tech Industry in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech location as a driving patrol professional, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity while putting people first.

- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to support timely communication with site contacts and emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to identify unusual activity and/or site policy concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Document incidents, patrol activities, and/or daily observations in required reports while maintaining a professional presence and supporting client-facing interactions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
