What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report maintenance, hazard, and/or operational concerns observed during patrols.
- Support site operations by communicating with employees, visitors, and supervisors, following post orders, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or daily events.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
