Security Officer - Unarmed Warehouse Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Warehouse Patrol in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol docks, entrances, and yard areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet employees and drivers, respond to questions, document unusual activity, and communicate clearly with site contacts. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor inbound and outbound traffic flow at designated access points, verifying credentials and/or delivery information per post orders, and directing drivers to appropriate staging and dock areas.
• Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to oncoming personnel, and assist with compliance checks such as door and gate status, key control, and/or access control system monitoring.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
