Security Officer Station Patrol Job in Brooklyn, New York

As a Security Officer Station Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic public transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication to riders, visitors, and staff. Bring your New York State Security Guard License and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, public areas, employee areas, and surrounding perimeters, as assigned.
- Monitor for and report suspicious activity, unauthorized access, hazardous conditions, and policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, service disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
- Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
