As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will drive between assigned areas and conduct routine patrols, staying highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will observe and report concerns, support access control as needed, and provide professional customer service and clear communication to guests and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disputes, suspected theft, and/or disruptive behavior, and communicate updates to store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances and high-traffic areas, observe for suspicious activity, and report concerns promptly while maintaining a professional presence and assisting with directions and general questions.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, document incidents and daily activity, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when requested by site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1+ years of security experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
