Security Officer - Visitor Checkpoint Driver

As a Security Officer - Visitor Checkpoint Driver in Calabasas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential community where you will manage access control, greet residents and guests, and verify entries with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will monitor assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and document security-related activity to help support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, security-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Verify identification, residency status, guest authorizations, and vendor work orders as required, and manage visitor and contractor entry and/or exit in accordance with community rules.
• Monitor gates, doors, and other entry points, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized access through presence and consistent policy enforcement.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site management and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and perimeter, document observations, and complete reports for incidents, access activity, and policy issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
