As a Security Officer Reception Desk in Charlestown, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Front Desk Officer in a healthcare location, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and professionalism. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, visitor reception duties, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare location.
  • Monitor access at the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Support a professional front desk presence by answering questions, directing patients, staff, and visitors to appropriate areas, and assisting with security-related concerns according to site policies.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related matters in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
